Signage & Wayfinding System

UI for the Humber wayfinding operating system built into the digital console.

Digital wayfinding consoles are placed in strategic locations around the Lakeshore campus to help visitors find their way.

Once a building has been tapped on, a menu will appear which displays services and items inside the specific building. Building schematic is also available through this menu.

When the “Where to?” button is selected, the user has the ability to plan his route by choosing two points of interests as his/her start and finish points. The OS will then calculate the best route and display the estimated time of travel. On the right-hand side the user has the option to take this route along with them on their smartphone by scanning in the generated QR code.

Street directional signage

Building annotation signage which is using holographic technology to switch signature items upon distance. As seen below, the signage will change once the viewer is closer to the sign.

The signage changes from the building annotation to symbols & icons declaring services inside the specific building.
